# Connect SQL and NoSQL Databases to Qvista Instantly

> Connect MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, and more to Qvista for real-time data extraction, complex queries, and encrypted transfers.

Qvista connects to popular SQL and NoSQL databases so you can pull data into DataTables, Views, and Autoflux workflows in real time.

## Supported databases

* **SQL:** MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, MariaDB, Oracle
* **NoSQL:** MongoDB, Redis, DynamoDB

## Connect a database

1. Open **Connectors** → **New Connector**.
2. Select your database type.
3. Enter the host, port, database name, username, and password.
4. Choose a connection method (direct or SSH tunnel).
5. Click **Test Connection**, then **Save**.

## Security

All credentials are encrypted at rest. Connections use TLS by default and support SSH tunneling and IP allowlists for extra protection.
